Abstract

1415574 Animal exerciser METAFRAME CORP 5 June 1973 26904/73 Heading AIM A device for exercising animals comprises a revolvable drum 22 having a wall 36 in combination with a stationary housing 24, which is mounted internally of drum 22. The housing 24 includes a wall 44 having apertures 46 affording access for an animal to platforms 50, 52. The device is supported by a bracket 26 connected to a shaft 30 about which drum 22 rotates as an animal exercises upon internal cylindrical surface 38 in exercise area 60. The device can be removably supported on top of a cage wall 62 by a horizontal flange 28 of the bracket; alternatively the device can be inverted and the flange 28 rest on the cage floor in which case the bracket may be formed with steps to facilitate climbing. The stationary housing may be of generally elliptical shape.
