1414747 Double glazing CHEMISCHE INDUSTRIE POLYPLASTIC BV 1 March 1973 [29 March 1972] 9968/73 Heading E1R A method of joining two polymeric sheets to form a window comprises forming the edge of a basin-shaped sheet into a stepped configuration with two flanges 3, 4 spaced by an intermediate inclined flange 5, pressing the border of a flat sheet 1 against the inner flange 4 so as to form a V-shaped gap at the periphery of sheet 1, and filling this gap with adhesive. The sheets are of polymethylmethacrylate.
