1413406 Screw-and-nut gearing LA TECHNIQUE INTEGRALE SA 26 Oct 1973 [30 Oct 1972] 49975/73 Heading F2Q In a recirculating ball screw-and-nut device the balls are reqirculated through a passage 7a defined in a member 7 which is fitted in a longitudinally extending groove 4 on the periphery of the nut, the passage 7a being either entirely within the member 7 or partially defined by the base 4a of the groove 4 (as shown). Elements 8a and 8b secured in radial ducts 5a and 5b respectively guide the balls to and from the passage 7a, and may be integral with the member 7.
