1411013 Cover assembly for rocker arm; silencing CATERPILLAR TRACTOR CO 5 Nov 1973 51199/73 Heading FIB A noise suppressing cover assembly 10 e.g. for a rocker arm, a timing gear or an oil pan comprises a peripheral flange 15 to which is bonded an elastomeric pad means 16 which is also bonded to a rigid channel member 17. A gasket 21 is located in channel 20 formed in member 17 and is, in use, compressed against a surface 24 of engine 11.
