Abstract

1411012 Magnetic polymer ribbon BATTELLE MEMORIAL INSTITUTE 25 April 1973 [26 April 1972] 19745/73 Heading C3P [Also in Division D2] An ink ribbon is formed from a resin containing a plurality of chains of electrically conductive particles extending through the ribbon in the direction of its thickness. The conductive particles are preferably Ni powder and the resin may be an unsaturated polyester or a copolymer of such a polyester and styrene. A dispersing agent, e.g. magnesium stearate may also be included in the ribbon. The ribbon may be made by moulding between juxtaposed plates.
