Abstract

1410833 Reel containers BADISCHE ANILIN- & SODA-FABRIK AG 26 Jan 1973 [29 Jan 1972] 4027/73 Heading B8P To prevent dust entering a container for magnetic tape the container comprises two prism shaped halves 7 extending from cover members 2 hinged together by a back member 4, this construction ensures that along the parting line which is at the top of flanges 9 dust can only reach the interior via two small apertures where the sloping plane of the prisms coincides with the parting line. The container may be made of a deep drawn plastics material. The cover members 2 may have a rigid P.V.C. core, a layer of foam material, and an outer layer of P.V.C. film. Pins 17, 18 and apertures 15, 16 retain the container closed.
