Abstract

1409081 Holders for needles, pins and the like ABEL MORRALL Ltd 9 Nov 1972 [20 May 1972] 23862/72 Heading B8P A needle holder comprises a flat base 22 carrying a felt pad 32 through which the needles are inserted and a cover 23 into which the base is slid, the base being deflectable to the position shown at 43 when partly withdrawn from the cover. The base may be of cardboard or a paper sheet with a front part of a clear plastics material vacuum formed or moulded to enclose the felt pad 32. The cover may also be of clear plastics material and has folded under longitudinal edges to form guides in which the base slides. The base is stiffened by ribs 28 and has further hollow ribs 27, 29 that co-operate with ribs 38, 39 on the cover to limit the withdrawal of the base from the cover and to close the open end of the cover when the base is pushed fully into the cover.
