Abstract

1407826 Automatic speed regulation BROWN BOVERIE & CIE A G 25 Aug 1972 [28 Aug 1971] 39805/72 Heading G3N A system for regulating the driving and braking of a self-propelled electric vehicle forms a desired torque value according to expressions simulated by a computing circuit and using electrical signals representing actual and desired vehicle speeds and a maximum torque value. The expressions produce a linear relationship between torque setting and desired speed set by a single control element, avoiding excessive and abrupt torque variations. The computing circuit may include a D.C. amplifier with a feedback transistor providing an impedance dependent on the actual speed signal.
