Abstract

1407550 Fastenings UNITED-CARR LTD 4 July 1974 [9 July 1973] 32624/73 Heading E2B A device for joining two apertured members 22, 23 together comprises a split metal sleeve 16 and a body 11 of plastics material which can be passed into the sleeve, there being cooperating means on the sleeve and the body preventing relative axial movement therebetween. As shown, the body has inwardly inclined fingers 18 which co-operate with a double-tapered neck portion 13 of the body and outwardly inclined fingers 21 which co-operate with a tail portion 15 of the body.
