Abstract
1404726 Washing machines SEIMENS ELECTROGERATE GmbH 3 Dec 1973 [12 March 1973] 50066/73 Heading D1A A bulk rinsing agent supply container 20 (b) is cooled during use of a washing machine to prevent deterioration of the agent due to heat by passing round it or conveying through it fresh cold water when supplied to the machine. The machine, which may be automatic, semi-automatic and/or a twin tub has chambers 13 for detergent or washing agents which are selectively flushed into a tub 11. The rinsing agent having been previously supplied in a measured amount from a container 20 by a conventional distributation device. The cooling water may trickle over (Fig 1) or pass through a coil passing internally or externally of the container or between the double walls of the container (Fig 3) which is preferably transparent and has a portion 21 free of the jacket or coil for viewing of the washing agent level through a window 22.
