When the slide moves forwardly (opposite to direction B) flap 1a, 1b close and locate against stops 10, and flaps 1c pivot to permit rollers 11 to contact walls 5. On reversing the slide (direction B) the flaps pivot to the positions shown, flaps 1b and 1c being retained against stops 13, and flaps 1a against stops 12, so that the angle between "fully open" and fully closed positions is less than 90‹. This arrangement permits dung passages of varying widths between that of cross beam 3 and that of the beam plus twice the width of flaps 1c to be cleaned.
