Abstract

1403579 Aqueous dispersions of chloroprene polymers BAYER AG 5 Oct 1972 [7 Oct 1971] 45884/72 Heading C3P A stable, organic solvent-free, aqueous dispersion which contains (a) from 20 to 60 parts, by weight, based on 100 parts of the dispersion, of at least one chloroprene homo- and/or copolymer and (b) from 0À5 to 30 parts by weight based on 100 parts of the dispersion of a terpene phenol resin, terpene resin, cumarone-indene resin, colophony, colophony ester, pentaerythritol or pentaerythritol ester is produced by mixing (1) an aqueous dispersion of (a) with (2) a solution of (b) in chloroprene and/or another monomer which is present in the chloroprene copolymer in polymerized form, and then removing the chloroprene and/or other monomer.
