1401617 Feeding trough H D SHARMAN 19 July 1972 [20 July 1971] 33961/71 Heading A1M A trough 10 bent from a flat extruded plastics sheet is stiffened by rigid plastics or metal strips 14 along its edges 10a, and is supported at intervals by mounting brackets, formed from bent metal strip, bolted to a battery cage frame 18. The brackets have inturned lips 22 into which the strips 14 clip and conventional trough ends are used. The plastics sheet may have parallel hinge lines formed by passing it between rollers having ring headings, and may be transported as a roll.
