Abstract
1401063 Vapour power plant E I DUPONT DE NEMOURS & CO 16 Aug 1972 [17 Aug 1971] 38206/72 Heading F1Q In a method of generating power by heating and vaporizing a working substance, expanding the vapour in an engine to do work and after doing the work condensing the vapour and recycling, the working substance, consists essentially of at least one halogenated benzene of the formula C 6 H a Ch b F c in which a is 1 or 2b is 3 or 4 and c is 1 or 2 and a + b + c=6. The working substance may consist of mixed isomers of trichlorodifluorobenze. The working substance may be subjected to centrigugal force during the steps of heating and condensing and may be recycled by centrifugal force. The specification comprises details of various working media which can be employed and describes the way in which they can be prepared. The Divisional Specification 1401064 is referred to.
