Abstract
1399952 Ski tracks ROYALTY SA 29 March 1973 [21 April 1972] 15258/73 Heading A6D A flexible structure e.g. for ski tracks comprises a number of similar elements each consisting of parallel members 1, 2 and arcs 3, 3a..3n connected to the members 1, 2 by base portions 4, 5, the elements being interleaved as shown in Fig. 2 and each arc being provided on either side of its top with a number of protuberances 14, 15 and flexible protruding fingers 16. The members 1 and 2 are held together by clips 7 and the axes have V-shaped depressions 11 at their tops of similar configuration to the depressions 12 between successive arcs on adjacent elements. The fingers 16 all have the same degree of taper and are of heights such that their tops are disposed in the same plane. In a second embodiment (Fig. 4, not shown) the arcs have side arms (18, 19) to engage with arcs on an adjacent element. In further embodiments (Figs. 5-7 not shown) the arcs of each element are connected by reinforcing members (22, 23) which are also provided with fingers (16a) similar to the fingers 16.
