Abstract

1398999 Tank for electroless nickel plating DEERE & CO 26 Sept 1972 [4 Oct 1971 #2] 33643/74 Divided out of 1398998 Heading C7F Electroless Ni plating is carried out in a tank 10 which comprises an inert plastics liner 32 e.g. polypropylene, and a surrounding support structure comprising an adjacent inner wall 40 and an outer wall 40 spaced from the inner-wall each wall comprising a glass fibre reinforced skin 38 to form an insulating gap 44. The walls preferably have a plywood backing. The liner 32 has a flange 34 which seats on the top wall 36 of the support. The electroless Ni plating solution in the tank is circulated via outlet 14 to pump 16, heat exchanger 20 and filter 24.
