Abstract

1398545 Phosphoric acid amides WACKERCHEMIE GmbH 17 Oct 1972 [16 Nov 1971] 47821/72 Heading C2P Phosphoric acid bis-(dimethylamide)chloride or phosphoric acid tris(dimethylamide) is separated from a mixture comprising dimethylammonium chloride and a solution of the required amide in a water immiscible inert organic solvent, by adding water to the mixture and separating off the resulting aqueous phase which contains the dimethyl ammonium chloride. The organic phase may subsequently be distilled to obtain the desired product. The mixture is preferably contacted with 20 to 40% by weight of water at 0‹ to 100‹ C. and stirred or otherwise agitated.
