1397483 Photographic 3-anilino-2-pyrazol- 5-one magenta colour couplers FUJI PHOTO FILM CO Ltd 15 Nov 1973 [15 Nov 1972] 53162/73 Heading G2C [Also in Division C2] A non-diffusing magenta coupler for use in silver halide photographic emulsions comprises a 3-anilino-2-pyrazol-5-one wherein the anilino group of said coupler is substituted in at least one of the ortho-positions thereof by a halogen atom or an alkyl, aryl, alkoxy, aryloxy, alkylthio, arylthio, amino, amido, hydroxyl, cyano or nitro group and in at least one of the meta- and para-positions thereof by a sulphamoyl group.
