Abstract

1393288 Discharging bulk materials BUEHLER AG GEBR 16 Aug 1972 [16 Aug 1971] 38145/72 Heading B8S A storage container for bulk materials has a vibrating outlet device and an insert member rigidly fast with the container disposed above the outlet device a distance similar to the width of the outlet device. A flow-regulating compartment is thus formed between the outlet and the insert, so that a load-relieved flowregulating section is formed in the flow-regulating compartment. In the figures, storage container 1 is provided with outlet 2 vibrated by means 9 and insert 5 comprising upwardly facing surfaces 6 forming a pyramid-like body carried by transverse support 7 having inverted V-shaped surfaces 8 on its upper surfaces. Alternative embodiments are shown in other figures.
