Abstract

1392386 Hydraulic accumulators V LANGEN [trading as LANGEN & CO] 7 June 1972 [11 June 1971] 26617/72 Heading F1D The flexible partition 2, Fig. 1, of a hydraulic accumulator has a closure member 10 for preventing the partition being drawn out through the liquid port 8, which is attached to the partition by a ring 14 having an internal diameter smaller than the overall diameter of the head 9 of the closure plus twice the wall thickness of this part of the partition. The ring may be entire or split and of steel or a hard plastics material. The ring may have several convolutions. Fig. 4 shows an embodiment in which a cup-shaped member 17 with an up-turned rim 18 replaces the ring.
