1391422 Discharging pourable substances ROWAN INVESTMENTS Ltd 8 May 1972 [6 May 1971] 13449/71 Heading B8A [Also in Division F2] Pneumatic discharge means comprises a discharge line connectible to a discharge valve of a container for pourable substances, a boost fluid inlet conduit connected to the discharge line at a T-junction and a pressure responsive valve member in the boost fluid inlet conduit operable to allow passage of boost fluid into the discharge line when the pressure exceeds a predetermined value. The pressure responsive valve member is preferably as shown in Fig. 1, piston 14 being moved axially against atmospheric pressure and spring 20 by excess pressure in the container to permit boost fluid to pass along boost fluid inlet conduit 19, 13 and into the discharge line from the container, there to disperse a blockage causing the excess pressure in the container.
