Abstract

1390246 Fluidic elements CROUZET 19 May 1972 [7 June 1971] 23556/72 Heading G4P [Also in Division F2] A pneumatic logic element has a casing including in one face two inlet bores la of the same cross-section and on an opposite face a projecting outlet tube 1d. The cross-section of the tube is the same as that of the bores so that the outlet tube of one element can be fitted in to an inlet bore of another such element. An AND element is shown in Fig. 2. Valves 6, 6<SP>1</SP> sliding on lands 1f are connected by rod 7 so that the valves can alternately abut the ribs 1c surrounding the entrances to the outlet tube. An OR gate, Fig. 3 (not shown), and an element which can operate as an AND or an OR gate, dependent on its dimensions, Fig. 4 (not shown), are described.
