Abstract

1389586 Deodorizing unit BURGER BOY RED TOP REFRESHMENT KIOSKS Ltd 2 Aug 1973 [7 Aug 1972] 36719/72 Heading A5G [Also in Division B1] A deodorizing unit for air comprises an upper reservoir 11 and a lower container 12 both containing deodorizing fluid, a pump 14 for transferring the fluid from the container to the reservoir, a plurality of absorbent or porous wicks extending from the reservoir to the container through perforations in the base of the former and ducting 18, 19 situated between reservoir and container through which the air is passed to make contact with the wicks and microswitches 14, 15 actuated by ball cock 16 arranged to start the pump 14 to adjust the level of fluid in the reservoir. The wicks are arranged in staggered rows in the path of the air flow. Two such deodorizing units may be incorporated in a kiosk roof.
