Abstract

1389391 Bus-bars W PFISTERER 3 Jan 1973 412/73 Heading H2E An electrical bus-bar 9 per low-voltage distribution comprises a flat rail 10, having a staggered array of V-section terminal lugs 11 1 to 11 8 extending perpendicularly on both sides and capable of receiving conductors various sizes and shapes. The V-section of each lug may have two included angles 4, 5, offering a snug fit to the sector conductors of a four-core and a three-core cable respectively. Transverse ribbing 6 may be added. Modifications (Figs. 4-9, not shown) comprise: a bus-bar bent about its longitudinal axis so that the lugs extending from opposite sides are mutually perpendicular (9<SP>1</SP>) on parallel (12, 13); and a bus-bar fabricated from two rails (1, 1 or 1, 1<SP>1</SP>) each having lugs on only one side and jointed so that the lugs extend opposite ways in a staggered array.
