1388960 Ambulance stretchers HERBERT LOMAS Ltd 9 Oct 1973 [12 Oct 1972] 47058/72 Heading B7B An ambulance stretcher trolley comprises an upper frame 1 connected by resilient suspension units 3 to a lower frame 4 which is supported on wheels or castors 18. Each suspension unit comprises concentric housings 6, 7 mounted to the upper and lower frames respectively. An outer spring 8 is held between shoulders 6<SP>1</SP>, 7<SP>1</SP> formed on each housing and an inner stronger spring 9 is connected at each end to respective housings 6, 7 by pins 13, 14 which pass through slots in a tube 11 of the inner housing 7.
