1388565 Radio-active isotopes UNION CARBIDE CORP 17 March 1972 [18 March 1971] 12505/72 Heading G6R A technetium 99m generator is recharged with fission product molybdenum 99 by contacting the inorganic substrate in the generator with an aqueous solution, at a pH of from 4 to 9, of an inorganic salt of fission product Mo 99, the Mo 99 having a radio-nuclidic purity of at least 99À99%. The Mo 99 may be used in the form of sodium, potassium or ammonium molybdate. The Tc99m generator may be prepared as described in Specification 1,265,769.
