Abstract

1387754 Transferring apparatus COMMERCIAL DECAL Inc 16 May 1972 [21 May 1971] 22938/72 Heading B6C Ceramic objects are decorated with heat release transfers which are applied in line contact, the transfers being arranged on a strip above a horizontal reciprocable suction box whilst the objects, e.g. cups, are held through suction recess at the end of a hollow horizontal freely rotable but vertically adjustable shaft. Although the cup may be caused to roll along a fixed transfer strip the described embodiment shows a moving strip and fixed shaft and the cup may be heated before being placed on the shaft.
