Abstract

1387725 Hydroxylammonium salts STAM1- CARBON NV 27 June 1972 [1 July 1971] 30079/72 Heading C1A Hydroxylammonium salt, solutions are prepared by catalytic reduction of nitrate ions in an acid medium with molecular hydrogen, the catalyst containing palladium or palladium oxide with platinum as a second active component. The catalyst may be supported on carbon and may contain 0À1 to 40% wt. based on the total weight of palladium and platinum. The reaction may be carried out in solution in phosphoric acid.
