Abstract

1387276 Liquid crystal compositions XEROX CORP 3 Jan 1972 [6 Jan 1971] 131/72 Heading C4X [Also in Divisions G2 and H4] A mixture of a cholesteric liquid crystal material with a further cholesteric, nematic and/or smectic material or materials is useful in an imaging method wherein the mixture in the Grandjean texture is heated and cooled to assume the focal conic texture (see Divisions H3-H5). Numerous examples of suitable mixtures are given.
