Abstract
1387010 Transistor oscillator circuits CITIZEN WATCH CO Ltd 26 June 1972 29877/72 Heading H3T [Also in Divisions G3 and H1] An oscillator circuit for a timepiece employs a piezo-electric bar 611<SP>1</SP> and transistors 201, 204 in the emitter follower and common emitter modes respectively. Coarse and fine adjustment of the oscillator frequency is permitted by capacitors 216, 212. A feedback loop includes a thermistor 213 in parallel with a capacitor 214 and is arranged to minimize the variation of output frequency with temperature (Fig. 18, not shown). The amplifier input impedance may be adjusted by means of resistor 203, to change the effectiveness of the temperature compensation circuit (Fig. 17, not shown). The oscillator output at terminal 219 is fed to a frequency divider and drives a watch train.
