Abstract

1385606 Spark gaps INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP 7 June 1973 [15 June 1972] 27168/73 Heading H1X Two of the tracks 2 and 4 of a printed circuit are spaced more closely than the others to form a spark gap 2a, 4a providing protection against surge overvoltages. Track 2 is grounded via terminal 1. A signal applied to track 4 via terminal 3 is liable to contain a surge voltage. Tracks 5 conduct other signals not likely to contain surge voltages.
