Abstract

1385011 Mixing apparatus SILVERSON MACHINES Ltd 4 Jan 1972 [7 Jan 1971] 838/71 Heading B1C An immersion mixer 7 has a rotor 9 with blades 31 which expel material outwardly through apertures in the stator 11, and means 17 (as shown, a screw 33) on the rotor shaft to convey material parallel to the shaft and towards the inlet 28. There may be another mixing head 1 with an oppositely facing inlet 44. Baffles 37 inclined to the radius (see Fig. 2 not shown) may reduce bodily rotation of the material.
