1384311 Ticket or token issuing CARL OCH BENGT TREHN CBT BOLAGET KB 27 March 1972 14193/72 Headings G4T and G4V Upon manual operation of means initiating operation of a ticket issuing machine, the latter dispenses a number of tickets or tokens depending upon the value of coins or notes previously inserted in a cash-receiving mechanism, linked to the ticket issuing machine, this value also being indicated on a display device, linked to the cash-receiving mechanism. The cashreceiving mechanism may include three slots for 5p pieces, 10p pieces and pound notes respectively. If the value of cash inserted in the mechanism equals a multiple of the cost of a ticket plus a remainder, upon operation of the initiating means, tickets corresponding to this multiple are issued and the remainder is indicated on the display device. Totalizers for the number of tickets issued by the machine and for the total value of cash inserted into the mechanism may be provided. A lock-up receptacle for cash inserted in the mechanism is provided. The various apparatus integers may be included in a ticket office stall or kiosk, which includes a horizontal surface, upon which coins and notes may be handled and upon which the ticket issuing machine, the display device and a push button for the initiating means are located. The horizontal surface is formed with the slots leading to the cash-receiving mechanism and lock-up receptacle, beneath the surface. The tickets may be in the form of tokens for freeing a turnstile. If the tickets are of different prices, a ticket issuing machine for each value ticket is provided.
