1383210 Vehicle seat slides H R TURNER (WILLENHALL) Ltd and BRITISH LEYLAND (AUSTIN-MORRIS) Ltd 24 Aug 1972 [28 Aug 1971] 40462/71 Heading A4J [Also in Division F2] A vehicle seat has a seat slide comprising a fixed channel-section member 10 in which a movable member 18 is slidably received, the movable member being made from a tube of circular cross-section which has been deformed to the form shown in Fig.6, and having its end portions bent to form upstanding legs 22 which are welded to the seat cushion frame. The movable member is crimped below the upstanding legs to form channels 26 in which inturned flanges 12 on the fixed member slide. The seat described in Specification 1382584 may be mounted on this seat slide.
