1381409 Pesticidal thiophosphoric and thiophosphonic acid derivatives HOECHST AG 29 Sept 1972 [30 Sept 1971 19 June 1972 22 July 1972] 45089/72 Heading C2P Novel compounds of Formula I where R 1 is C 1-4 alkyl, C 1-6 alkoxy or phenyl, R 2 is C 1-6 alkoxy, amino, mono- or di(C 1-6 alkyl) amino or C 3-6 alkenylamino, R 3 , R 4 , R 5 , R 6 and R 7 are hydrogen or C 1-4 alkyl, at least 3 of R 3 , R 4 , R 5 , R 6 and R 7 being hydrogen, R 8 and R 9 are, hydrogen, halogen, C 1-4 alkyl or C 1-4 alkoxy and X is oxygen or sulphur, may be prepared by reacting a compound of Formula II where Y is halogen with a compound of Formula III or a salt thereof, optionally in the presence of an acid-binding agent. The compounds of Formula I have insecticidal, acaricidal and nematocidal properties and may be used as the active ingredients in conventional pesticidal compositions.
