Regenerators.-To prevent clogging by slag, work is divided into two compartments c, i, arranged at an angle one to the other, the compartment nearest the furnace having an inclined floor. Slag is deposited in the compartment c, and is maintained in a liquid condition by the higher temperature obtaining therein and continually flows down the inclined floor s to the discharge outlet e.
