Protectors and shields.-A shield for holding dressings in place comprises an inner flexible sheet 7 of leather, linoleum, papier mÔchÚ, mill board or aluminium covered on its inner and outer surfaces with washable coverings 9, 10. A layer of padding 8 is preferably interposed between the covering 9 and the sheet 7. The shield is secured by one or more adjustable bands 2 passing through guide-members 3.
