[Also in Group VI] Laminated material for surgical splints comprises an outer layer of bendable form-retaining material with scored areas to facilitate bending and an inner layer of spongy material secured to the outer layer. A surgical splint comprises an inner layer 18 of foam rubber bonded or secured by an interposed backing-layer or its elastic surface skin to an outer layer 12 of aluminium. The outer layer has scored lines 14, 16.
