Abstract
1378702 Valves HEILMEIER & WEINLEIN FABRIK FUR OEL-HYDRAULIK 18 April 1972 [20 April 1971] 17968/72 Heading F2V A solenoid-actuated valve comprises a body with a flat surface provided with an inlet port 26, a return port R and outlet ports A and B communicating with a bore 16, a pair of three-way valves 30, 32 each comprising loosely-connected balls 46, 48 as closure members accommodated in the bore and a solenoid 110 parallel to the bore which actuates the valves by means of associated lever mechanisms 106, 108. The balls are spring-biased such that ports A and B normally connect with the return port. Upon actuation of the solenoid one of the valves is actuated to connect port A or B with a central chamber 18 and hence via a filter 20 to the inlet. A chamber 94 beyond each of the outer ball closure members is connected to the inlet to balance the inlet pressure acting on the inner closure members from chamber 18 to facilitate actuation.
