Abstract

1378559 Trollies for heavy loads BRABY GROUP Ltd 4 Sept 1973 [5 Sept 1972] 41120/72 Heading B7B A trolley for heavy loads, such as a storage heater, comprises an inverted channel section support platform 10, wheels 13 adjacent each end of the platform, and a towing bar 16 which is longitudinally movable between a stowed position in which a handle 17 is adjacent and obscures the wheels at one end of the trolley and an extended position in which the tow bar can pivot about an end portion of the frame. The limbs of the U-shaped tow bar are guided at 10c between the horizontal and vertical parts, of the platform and are inturned at their free ends 16b. The plastics handle 17 is freely mounted on the tow bar. On extending the tow bar the inturned portions abut a downturned front flange 10b thus allowing pivotal movement. Further wheels 14 may be placed between the end wheels and non-slip pads 11 may be provided on the platform.
