Abstract

1378514 Vehicle lamps JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd 9 Feb 1972 [5 March 1971] 6207/71 Heading F4R In a vehicle lamp the bulb holder housing 16 is releasably fastened to the casing 11 by means of a fastening comprising a pair of complementary strips 15, 18, one of which 18 incorporates a number of tiny hooks and the other of which 15 incorporates a number of tiny loops. Such a fastening resists longitudinal separation of the strips but permits one strip to be peeled from the other to allow replacement of a bulb 17 in the housing and also serves to damp vibrational movement between the casing and holder when the lamp is mounted on a vehicle.
