Abstract

1376334 Electric irons ELEKTROWARME SORNEWITZ VEB 16 Nov 1971 53186/71 Heading D1A A handle of an electric iron comprises two interengaging mouldings 2, 3 the main moulding 2 being of U-shaped cross-section and extending parallel to the soleplate surface and the moulding 3 extending across the moulding 2 to form a cover 4 and including integral thumb rests 5 and a nose 6. The cover moulding 3 may have splayed ribs 7 engaging within the moulding 2 (Fig. 3) or may have sides 11 extending over the walls 8 of the moulding 2 interengaging projections 9 and preferably recesses retaining the two mouldings.
