1375997 Component assemblies; resistors FUJI SANGYO CO Ltd 22 Dec 1971 [31 Dec 1970] 59640/71 Headings H1R and HIS A carbon film resistor 6 has end caps 7a, 7b soldered to printed circuit conductors 2a, 2b so that other conductors 3 may pass underneath, the whole assembly being encapsulated in synthetic resin 10. The resistor film may be formed on a ceramic tube and the resistor value determined by curting the helix 8 after the end caps have been fitted.
