1373202 Boots &c A M PANARETOS 14 March 1973 [26 April 1972] 12295/73 Heading A3B A sole-and-heel unit for a shoe comprises a rigid platform 1 extending from heel to toe and having a ground contacting surface 2 shaped in a continuous, convex curve, a central portion 2a of which is of a greater radius of curvature than the portions 2b, 2c lying both toewardly and heelwardly of the central portion. The platform 1 may be of steel, plastics or wood and be solid, hollow or of a lattice structure. The platform may be lined inside or out. (For Figure see next column)
