Abstract

1371875 Supporting workpieces CREUSOTLOIRE 9 Aug 1972 [3 Sept 1971] 37084/72 Heading C7N A device for rotating a workpiece 3 comprises two supports 1, 2 each having an endless chain 11, 21 passing over a pair of upper pulleys 131, (121) and 221, (231) respectively, each pulley being at the same height. The chain 11 of support 1 is driven by a motor 154, Fig. 2 (not shown), acting on a lower pulley (151), whilst the chain 21 of support 2 passes round a lower idle pulley 252, Fig. 3 (not shown). The supports 1, 2 are displaceable relative to each other, as are the upper pulleys. The device may be used for quenching or air-cooling a large workpiece.
