Abstract

550,107. Turntables. KING, Ltd., G. W., and KING, D. M. June 18, 1941, No. 7730. [Class 10,4 (ii)] A turntable carries bearing rollers 17 running on a circular track 19, and a driving track 20 engaged on opposite sides by rollers 22, 23, the rollers 22 being driven by a suspended electric motor 24, while 23 are resiliently mounted idler rollers. The motor is radially and axially adjustable, while bars 26 in guides 27 prevent angular movement. The table comprises radial arms 11 connected by peripheral arms 13, and supporting boards &c. 14. The tracks 19, 20 are connected to 11 by brackets 18, 21. In a modification the rollers 17 are mounted on the underside of 20 and run on 19 also arranged under 20. In another form, rollers 17 are mounted in the base of the trough 16 and support the table by engaging the underside of 20. Specification 524,750, [Group XXXI], is referred to.
