Abstract
1368612 Harvester J Z LARROYA 8 Sept 1971 [10 Dec 1970] 19528/71 Heading A1F A harvesting machine pivotally mounted on the front of a tractor by two bars B is driven from the tractor p.t.o. by a transmission belt TR engaging a pulley P fixed on a shaft E which is journalled in one of the bars and which carries a smaller pulley PL which drives part of the machine (the tedding rake R via a transmission belts TM and TP) and carries an eccentric for driving a reciprocating cutter bar PM. Belt TM drives a transverse auger conveyor which moves the cut crop to the centre and delivers it to crushing rollers (Fig. 6, not shown) which deposit in a swath between the tractor wheels. The harvester has skids LS or height adjustable rollers (Fig. 9, not shown) covered with rubber or having helical blades. The harvester is coupled to the traotor by means of a component PX (Figs. 6-8, not shown) eccentrically pivotally mounted on the front of the tractor and having two hydraulic lifting jacks (V).
