Abstract

1368046 Piezo-electric transducers P R MALLORY & CO Inc 27 Feb 1973 [20 March 1972] 9690/73 Heading H4J A piezo-electric audible alarm unit comprises an aluminium or soft steel housing 18 enclosing a piezo-electric element 12 which is glued to a rim 46 using silicone rubber and a printed circuit board 16 carrying an energizing circuit for the element 12. Contacts 58 are provided and ears 62 are used for mounting the unit. A grill 50 is provided in the housing for the egress of sound and to protect the transducer element. American Specification 3,277,465 is referred to.
