1367565 Bearings; lubricating FUJI DENKI SEIZO KK 5 Nov 1972 [5 Nov 1971] 50386/71 Heading F2A [Also in Division H2] In a rotary machine, such as an electric motor, fan blades 4 rotate with the shaft 9 and create a negative pressure axially inwardly of the rolling bearing 5 in which the shaft is mounted, thereby drawing in air through a labyrinth seal 10 and lubricant from a reservoir 8; excess lubricant is drained from the casing 1 via a pipe 11. The lubricant may be recirculated.
