1365169 Purifying hydrogen GES FUER KERNFORSCHUNG mbH 18 April 1972 [30 March 1972] 17935/72 Heading C1A [Also in Division G6] Purified hydrogen for use in the preparation of intermetallic actinide compounds (see Division G6) is obtained by passing commercial hydrogen successively through Pt asbestos/Ti sponge at 650‹ C., molecular sieves having a pore diameter of 5Š, a cooling trap at - 196‹ C., and flasks containing Na-K alloy at room temperature. The hydrogen has a low water vapour and oxygen content.
